Curly Pigtails offers modern clothing and accessories for girls. As the creator behind the brand, I stitch and crochet garments, hats and hair accessories out of the best quality materials I can find. My ultimate goal is to create bright, interesting clothing that is as fun to look at as it is comfortable to wear. I design my own original patterns for each item of clothing based on what's comfortable (and appropriate) for kids and what's currently in fashion. I then make limited edition runs of a style using a combination of organic and eco-friendly fabrics along with new and vintage cotton fabrics. I sometimes add hand-crocheted embellishments as well, for something truly special.
Having a toddler girl myself, I understand that there is an abundance of gorgeous but stuffy clothing and boring but comfy clothing, but hardly anything that combines the best of both. By incorporating both bright, fun colors and patterns with thoughtful, comfort-enhancing details that parents and kids will both appreciate, Curly Pigtails is the answer!

A Note About Materials
The knitwear is made from 100% organic cotton made entirely in the US and using eco-friendly dyes and processes. The printed fabrics are from Daisy Janie's Shades of Grey line. Daisy Janie uses 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton and low-impact dyes and pigments, and the fabric is produced in a Fair Trade Certified facility. In addition to organic cotton, I use a variety of new and vintage cotton fabrics. The yarn used for the crocheted and knit embellishments is 100% organic cotton, and I make each of the hats, flowers and leaves by hand myself. Details, Details, Details
All of the bottoms have adjustable waistbands and some of the tops have adjustable straps. I use snaps for all closures because I think they are much simpler when trying to dress/undress a squirmy toddler. Plus, I think they're easier once kids start wanting to dress themselves. Most of the items with snaps have colored "pearls" on them to dress them up a bit and give them a girly sparkle (still 100% safe for kids!). I use nickel-free parts on the snaps to avoid skin irritations.
